Benjamin Hopf
Studio Benjamin Hopf

Benjamin Hopf was born 1971 in Hamburg, Germany. After graduating from High School in 1990 he moved to the USA and studied Design at the Miami International University of Art & Design. In 1992 Benjamin moved back to Germany where he continued studying Industrial Design at the Polytechnic University, Munich.
In 1996 he worked for a year at Siemens-Design (now Design Affairs).In 1998 he finished University with a MA in Design.

While still in his final year, Benjamin co-founded the Design Studio Büro für Form together with Constantin Wortmann. The focus of the Studio was on Lighting-, Furniture-, Interior-, Industrial-, Product- and Grafic-Design. They worked for international clients like Osram, Serien Lighting, Vibia, Next, Elmar Flötotto (now Authentics), Ycami, Habitat,
Kundalini, Umbra and many others. Their work has been rewarded with many international Design Awards.

In 2007 Benjamin decided to leave Büro für Form to open his own Design Office Studio Benajmin Hopf.

Parallel to his own studio he then established in early 2008 his own Lighting Label Formagenda, which he successfully operates till this day .

Christophe de la Fontaine
DANTE - Goods & Bads

Christophe de la Fontaine was born in 1976 in Luxembourg wehre he graduated the Lycee des Arts et Metiers in sculpture.
From 1996 – 2002 he studied industrial design under Richard Sapper, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart.
After a journey in London, Milan and Munich, he took over from 2003-2009 the design department at the studio of Patrizca Urquiola. Besides that, he worked independently and participated to numerous exhibitions in art and design.
In 2010 he opened his own design office in Milan. Among his clients are Moroso Rosenthal and Formagenda.

Since 2012 Christophe de la Fontaine founded the Label Dante Goods & Bads together with artist Künstlerin Aylin Langreuter.

Sami Ayadi
Sami Ayadi Design

Sami Ayadi studied Product- and Environmental Design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch-Gmünd from 2000 to 2004. In 2004 he completed his studies with a diploma.

During his studies, he worked in the Design office Stefan Brodbeck in Munich and held several project management in the classic product design and furniture design.

Since 2002 Sami Ayadi has a leading role in the team of Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design, Munich, still working successfully in one of the most renowned design offices in Germany.

Friedrich H. Sachs
Philosoph

Friedrich H. Sachs graduated in Philosophy, German, Sociology and Psychology. In 1967 he received his doctorate from the University of Munich as a doctor of Philosophy. From 1968 he was an editor at the publishing house Hoffmann und Campe, from 1973 to 1976 he was CEO at the C. Bertelsmann Verlag in Munich.

Friedrich H. Sachs was the author of novels, nonfiction, philosophical works and youth literature, and of journalistic articles, as for example for the ‘Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung’ and ‘Die Zeit’. In addition he published numerous anthologies and  books together with his wife Angela Hopf-v. Denffer. He was a member of the PEN Centre Germany.
